Brookline Drive – Remember When EP Review
Brookline Drive recently released their new EP “Remember When,” May 12, 2012.
It’s a catchy 4 song EP that consists of great melodies, incredible harmonies and a cute, happy, upbeat feel.
The title track “Remember When” is one of those songs that you can’t help to smile and bounce around to.
Ben Lemieux (Lead Vocals) has a nice, unique voice that you don’t really get to hear in most other pop-rock bands.
The track, “I’m Over It,” reminds me of Hot Chelle Rae in the way that it’s more pop-y and the chords in the background are quite similar to the intro in “Whatever,” but personally it’s probably my favorite track on the EP. The instrumentals are well done, and it’s just one of those extremely catchy and elated songs.
Brookline Drive is capable of things that you don’t usually hear in this genre. “She’s So Beautiful,” the slower track on the EP has amazing harmonies that give me the chills. Most pop rock bands don’t have a full band who can sing, which makes Brookline Drive stand out to me.
People who like Action Item, the After Party, Never Shout Never and even the Cab would really enjoy this EP.
I highly recommend checking it out. “Remember When” is available on iTunes for $3.96!
