To Write Love on Her Arms Founder Announces Book Tour

April 22, 2015 – To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) has announced that founder Jamie Tworkowski will be visiting several states in support of his debut book launch, “IF YOU FEEL TOO MUCH: Thoughts on Things Found and Lost and Hoped For.” The tour starts on the book’s release date on May 26th in New York City, and finishes on June 10th in Melbourne, FL. As part of Tarcher/Penguin’s ongoing Tarcher Cares program, for every book sold, the company will be donating one dollar to TWLOHA.

Tworkowski says: “After years of speaking at concerts and on college campuses, I’m so excited for my first book tour. I’m so excited to hit the road to share IF YOU FEEL TOO MUCH with folks across America. My hope is that people leave encouraged and inspired every single night, and that we can start a conversation that continues long after I leave town.”

Jamie Tworkowski established To Write Love on Her Arms, a not-for-profit movement dedicated to showing positivity and finding help for people struggling with addiction, depression, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA started in 2006 as Tworkowski’s attempt to help a friend and tell a story. Tworkowski’s TWLOHA blogs have since become a source of hope and encouragement for thousands, and he speaks often at universities, concerts and conferences. 2015 looks to be the organization’s best year yet with the Sony Pictures release of the To Write Love on Her Arms film starring Kat Dennings, Chad Michael Murray, Rupert Friend & Corbin Bleu, now out on sale on Digital HD & DVD.

TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery. Since it began in 2006, TWLOHA has donated over $1.5 million directly into treatment and recovery programs and responded to more than 180,000 messages from over 100 countries.
