The OC Returns to LA in Musical Form

From the creators who brought us the unauthorized Cruel Intentions musical, which was met with amazing reviews, they’re back again to re-create the FOX drama, The OC.

The official Twitter account has posted a teaser of scenes to come. Ensuring us that a performance of Aqualung’s ‘Strange and Beautiful (I Put a Spell On You)’ will be making an appearance as it did in season 1.

As of right now the show is set to run on August 30 for one night only, there is no news yet as to where it will take place.

As of now only some of the cast has been announced. Starring as Kirsten Cohen is Christine Lakin, Luke Ward will be played by Drew Seeley (Jersey Boys) and Josh Schwartz will be played by Buzzfeed’s own Jarett Wieselman.
