Will Upside-Down Magic Cast the Right Spell on the Disney Channel?

Upside-Down Magic, a book series from Scholastic, is in development by the Disney Channel as an original television show. Upside-Down Magic tells the story of Nory, the youngest child in a family of accomplished magicians.  Unfortunately for Nory, after she commits a number of magical faux pas, she is assigned to a class of misfit magicians.  Nory learns a valuable lesson in her new environment.  The so-called misfits with their out of control powers believe in themselves and her.

Upside-Down Magic is by bestselling authors Sarah Mylnowski, Lauren Myracle and Emily Jenkins.  The first book in the series will be released on September 29, 2015.
