Most people know Jenny Lawson as The Bloggess. She’s a popular blogger and New York Times bestselling author.
I first heard about Jenny (who by the way has an AWESOME name) from a former coworker who told me about Jenny’s requests to have celebrities take a picture holding random objects. I continued reading her blog after that and became hooked.
Soon after, I read her first novel Let’s Pretend This Never Happened. I laughed so hard (yes, people I work with, it’s normal to laugh at a book) and cried so much that my husband thought I was having a breakdown. Her book helped me realize I was suffering from depression and I sought help.
Her second novel, Furiously Happy, recently debuted to high praise. I haven’t read it (YET) but I imagine I’ll love it just as much, if not more, than her first.
