SyFy’s The Internet Ruined My Life Will Premiere March 9

It sounds melodramatic, but the Internet can ruin your life, sometimes in very disturbing ways.

In the new SyFy show The Internet Ruined My Life, a six-episode docu-drama series, victims of social media harassment and threats tell how the Internet destroyed their lives because of a simple post … or even a simple emoji error. Each episode features two victims of social media. Along with these victims, friends and family are interviewed, and commentary is provided by experts in the criminal justice field.

Be careful what you say on the Internet. One of these days, those death threats could be directed at you.
