Today, pop group Bad Sounds dropped their new single titled “Avalanche” through Killing Moon Records. “Avalanche” is the band’s second single following the release of “I Feel” this past December.
The groovy new single was co-produced by Duncan Miller of Peace/Spector, and combines influences from the 70’s, 80’s, and the 90’s Brit-Pop era in order to create something surprisingly addictive and catchy. It’s a song that you and your parents can both dance to and enjoy!
Bad Sounds has gained much appraisal from various sources, including Clash Magazine, DIY Magazine, and The Line of Best Fit.
Clash Magazine writes, “Crisp electropop, crunching guitar lines, the odd pleading vocal…it all adds up to a perfect pop confection.”
Similarly, DIY Magazine states, “Bath-based brothers Bad Sounds revel in woozy pop sensibility and a toothy grin.”
In addition to their new release, Bad Sounds announced that they’ll be supporting the single at a number of UK festivals, including Dot to Dot, The Great Escape, and Field Day. A full list of tour dates can be found below.
