Too Much Tour Kicks Off October 28th in San Diego, CA

The Frights, a three-piece surf-punk band, will join DLAR and SWMRS for a huge, nationwide tour this fall. The Too Much Tour kicks off October 28th in San Diego, CA at The Observatory North Park. The trio of bands will make their way across the U.S. hitting fourteen major cities along the way and most likely destroying everything in their path. Grab your tickets now right here!

The band which is comprised of, Mikey Carnevale (Lead vocals, Guitar), Richard Dotson (Bass, Vocals), and Marc Finn (Drums), won’t be slowing down anytime soon. They are also gearing up for a headline summer tour with Hunny that kicks off July 19th at The Rebel Lounge in Phoenix, AZ. A full list of all upcoming shows can be found below.

You Are Going To Hate This (produced by FIDLAR vocalist Zac Carper) The Frights’ debut album which is being distributed by dangerbird records, delivers in spades; from the raw and slightly psychedelic fever dream of Puppy Knuckles” to the hammering guitar lines and frank confessions of “Afraid Of The Dark”. This band has hit their stride and the riffs and lyrics are like a blast of fresh air that knocks you down before picking you up again.  You don’t want to skip the album or miss the tour.

The Frights make music that’s a lot smarter than it would appear. Beneath the bratty, corrosive surface lies a rare tunefulness and dedication to dialing up rock’s past…startlingly great at kicking out the garagey jams.

The band recently showed off their musical chops in a session with Jam In The Van, which you can check out here.

The larger than life anthem, “Kids,” sports a hand-crafted music video that Interview Magazine praised as the “intersection of Keith Haring’s artworks and Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo.”   Watch the official music video for “Kids” below.
