If it hadn’t been for Comedy Central’s Roast of Whoever, I probably never would have come across Lisa Lampanelli. But I’m so glad I did. This funny lady is one of the highlights of the Roasts, and it makes me sad when she isn’t on every single one.
The first time I was introduced to this amazing comedian was the Roast of William Shatner. She tore everyone apart on the stage, and I can’t remember laughing at anything as much as I laughed then. She has no filter, which is great (go back and watch Roast of Donald Trump). They don’t call her the “Queen of Mean” for nothing.
Her standup specials are also something to take a peek at. Nothing is off limits.
