‘The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2’ recap: Paulie and Cara continue to make enemies

Team U.K. can’t win to save their lives and Team USA is constantly at each others’ throats in this week’s episode of The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2.

In case you missed it, here’s what went down:

“For the Queen!”

The episode kicks off with Team U.K. holding a meeting. Georgia explains that they need to stop working with the Americans (specifically Paulie and Cara Maria) and start focusing on winning together. Kayleigh and Rogan smile and nod, but both say in their confessionals that they will still work with the U.S. team moving forward.

Rumbling in the crate

This week’s challenge saw the two teams get locked inside a container that’s then rocked by a giant crane. The first team to complete the puzzle would be safe and pick two guys to go up for the elimination challenge.

Both teams struggled, so we went into a sudden death round. Host T.J. Lavin even set up half the puzzle because everyone is so bad at this and they needed to declare a winner. Team US wins yet again and Josh was nominated as speaker. He picks Leroy and Ninja Natalie to join him in the tribunal.

Playing the middle

All season, Leroy has been playing the middle, but viewers finally saw him being forced to choose a side. After the Brits nominated Idris, he said he wanted to go against Theo. However, Josh wants to vote in Joss and Ninja wants to vote in Theo, since he is not working with Paulie.

Theo and Paulie get into an argument with the latter pretending to be the fake bully that he is. Security comes in and breaks things up, leaving Tori and Jordan with a bad taste in their mouths. Jordan comes up with a plan to turncoat and join Team UK in order to help them beat Paulie and Cara.

At the elimination, Leroy decides to vote with Paulie’s alliance, choosing to throw in Theo for elimination. This leads to a heated confrontation between Paulie and Josh, with Paulie calling Josh a “Big Brother baby bitch”. Uh, don’t forget that you came from Big Brother too, Paulie. *eye roll*

Tear down that wall

For this week’s elimination, Idris and Theo have to swing on a rope and break through a wall before solving a puzzle. This matchup isn’t even close as Theo easily breaks through the wall and solves the puzzle. Idris goes home and Theo opts to stay with the Brits.

Things are raging

Back at the house, things get very heated quickly. Jordan continues to call Cara out for being fake. Cara shoots back, so Ashley goes to snitch that Jordan has also been talking about Turbo.

Turbo goes off on Jordan as security steps in to hold him back. Team USA is still divided and this fight isn’t going to help things. As the episode ends, Turbo is raging mad and pushes one of the security guards holding him back.
