President Obama will appear on VICE Special

Earlier today, The White House announced that President Obama will visit El Reno federal prison in Oklahoma next week for VICE’s upcoming special on the criminal justice system.

President Obama will be the first sitting president to ever visit a federal prison.

The VICE special will air this fall on HBO. The President and VICE founder and host, Shane Smith, will tour the facility and meet with prisoners, staff and law enforcement officials.
