Casey Bolles Set to Release Cover EP “Manhattan”

unnamed (1)Fresh off of the release of his 2015 EP Freshman, singer-songwriter Casey Bolles will be releasing Manhattan on January 22, an EP featuring covers of The Postal Service, The 1975, and The Mountain Goats.

“I wanted to release this cover EP while I’m writing my first LP,” Bolles said of Manhattan. “I had a lot of fun recording these songs for a couple days with my good friend (and the producer of my first EP Freshman), Jay Zubricky in my hometown, Buffalo. Manhattan is a series of covers that Jay and I recorded over the summer, with artwork by another friend of mine, Chelsea Beck.”

Manhattan promises to show a different side of Boles than his previous release, trading in the stripped down acoustic for a more full layered approach. While the quirky, passionate vocals are still very much present, the song “Chocolate” shows a new more restrained vocal approach.

Fans can purchase Freshman now and stream “Chocolate” off of the upcoming EP Manhattan below.

Manhattan Track List:

  1. Chocolate (The 1975)
  2. Going To Georgia (The Mountain Goats)
  3. Such Great Heights (The Postal Service)
