Jennifer Nettles, Gerald McRaney and Ricky Schroder join “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors”

NBC announced that Country Star, Jennifer Nettles, Gerald McRaney and Ricky Schroder have been added to the cast of “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors.”
The film is set in the Tennessee Great Smokey Mountains in 1955. It is neither a biopic nor musical about Dolly’s whole life and performing career, but rather a family-oriented faith-based story about the incidents in her and her family’s life around the time she was nine years old.
Nettles will be Parton’s mother, Avie Lee. McRaney will portray Grandpa Jake Owens. While Schroder will play Parton’s father, Lee.
The three performers will join Alyvia Lind who will play the young Dolly Parton.
