Pop Metal Group Alesana Releases Part 1 of “Comedy of Errors” Musical Mini-Movie

The song “Comedy of Errors” is from Alesana’s most recent release “Confessions”’ part 2 and 3 of the saga will be concluded later this winter. Beginning in Baltimore and solidifying its lineup in Raleigh, NC, Alesana formed in October 2004 around guitarist/vocalist Shawn Milke, guitarist Patrick Thompson, vocalist Dennis Lee, bassist Steven Tomany, and drummer Daniel Magnuson.
Their blend of post-hardcore and metal with pop hooks and earnest lyrics quickly turned Alesana into a fixture in their hometown scene, and they became the first signing to local indie Tragic Hero Records, releasing their debut EP, Try This with Your Eyes Closed, in mid-June 2005. The band’s mantra is “Positive Way of Life” as well as the driving force behind their music. Celebrating 11 years as a band, and their high energy and spirits are tangible in their every performance.
From the band:
“It is with great pleasure that we unveil part 1 of our short film / music video for ‘Comedy of Errors’,” says vocalist Shawn Milke. “The video was directed by our great friend Justin Reich and as always he did a killer job! The video takes you on a visual journey through the 3rd installment of our Annabel trilogy. With the third part of the story releasing later this winter, this video is an awesome way to get a glimpse into some of the twists and turns that are soon to haunt your mind. ‘Comedy of Errors’, which is one of my favorite Alesana tunes of all time, is featured on our most recent studio album ‘Confessions’ so check it out!”
The “Confessions” CD is available on iTunes and on Amazon Prime.
