To Write Love on Her Arms Releases New Rainbow Shirt to Support #Orlando

To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) has released a rainbow title shirt to help fund grief counseling sessions for those affected by the tragedy at Orlando’s Pulse Night Club last weekend. For each Rainbow Title Shirt and Rainbow Title Tank sold, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Solace Counseling, Zebra Coalition, and the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida. The organization has also set up a fundraising page for those who would prefer to donate directly.
Thousands of Orlando residents and those in the LGBTQ are in desperate need of counseling to begin the process of healing, and TWLOHA is doing all it can to ensure everyone has access to counseling. On the recent events, TWLOHA founder Jamie Tworkowski shares: “TWLOHA started in Orlando, and Central Florida has been our home ever since. So this is personal for us. It’s also a moment for us to make it clear that our message of hope and help is for absolutely everyone, and to invest in that hope and help so that people can begin to heal.“
To Write Love on Her Arms is a nonprofit dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. It exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery. Since its start in 2006, TWLOHA has donated over $1.5 million directly to treatment and recovery and answered over 180,000 messages from over 100 countries.
