Netflix announced on Thursday that 13 Reasons Why has been renewed for a fourth and final season. The announcement of the final season came as the streaming service released the new trailer for the upcoming third season, which is set to be released on August 23.

Season three picks up just eight months after the events of the second season and will center around the mystery of who killed Bryce Walker. The trailer shows that everyone is a suspect and seems to hint that it may even be one of the characters we’ve grown to love.

The show has been under constant criticism as it tackles controversial issues like suicide, rape, and gun violence. Netflix removed the graphic suicide scene from its season one finale due to the backlash it had gotten when the show first premiered.
